In Taipei, Dihua St. is the street of choice for all dried goods in preparation for the Chinese New Year meal. It's usually crazy packed the couple weeks before CNY which is on January 22 this year.

Last week, I walked down the street on a relatively quieter day with my Uncle. We bought some jelly fish, dried mangoes, oolong tea, and herbs for chicken soup. Abalone imported from Mexico is also pricy.
